Nov 5, 2020 · To add wireless surround speakers requires a device that you connect to the speaker outputs (needing power) that sends a wireless signal to a paired powered receiver containing an amplifier (usually MUCH less powerful than the AVR) that your surround speakers still need to connect to with speaker wire. They are also usually horrible.

I already have a receiver in front and a full set of speakers, I simply can't run this one rear speaker wire. It seems like the best solution would be wireless rca from receiver preout with a dedicated amp on the speaker.

My current/past setup for TV, movies and music (I say past because it is all in a storage unit) is an Onkyo Tx Nr757 receiver powering my current speakers which include two of the KEF Q900 in front, 2 KEF Q300 in the rear, a KEF Q650c center channel and a SVS PC-12NSD subwoofer.

Apr 25, 2020 · The front speakers, as well as the subwoofer, can be wired. My total budget for AVR, 5 speakers, and subwoofer is around $3000. The options I've found so far are Denon or Marantz with HEOS rear speakers, Yamaha with MusicCast rear speakers, or Onkyo or Pioneer with Play-Fi rear speakers.

Mar 22, 2023 · Currently using the dynasty proaudio WSA-5RP solution for wireless rear speakers. I'm actually quite happy with the audio quality. But the big issue is the random popping noises that happen maybe once every 30 min or so. Apparently others have this issue too per Amazon reviews.
