To add wireless surround speakers requires a device that you connect to the speaker outputs (needing power) that sends a wireless signal to a paired powered receiver containing an amplifier (usually MUCH less powerful than the AVR) that your surround speakers still need to connect to with speaker wire.

Oct 24, 2019 · For wireless surrounds, you would need a transmitter / receiver system. The former would connect to the Denon’s rear channel pre-outputs, and the latter to active speakers, or a remote amplifier for passive (read wired) speakers. Of course all this extra hardware adds expense. You’ll have to decide if the expense is worth the convenience.

Possible to use HEOS speakers as wireless surrounds?
Jan 6, 2019 · I can do this with the Denon Heos 5.1 AVR, can use wireless heos speakers for any set, not sure why the 4500h wouldn't accept it. In my setup I have a wired 5.1 soundbar but I can switch to wireless surrounds at anytime and make it a 3.1 soundbar. Only the HEOS AVR and HEOS Sound bars can use wireless HEOS surrounds.
