Dec 16, 2022 · I know a lot of people are unhappy with the 4090's coil whine and returning their GPUs. But it is actually very easy to manage. Just cap your framerate to a fixed framerate globally with Nvidia Control Panel, 99% of the coil whine will go away. (If you want to cap at your monitor's highest refresh rate, just turn on Vsync globally).

Nov 23, 2022 · My question emerged because i read that's kinda of madatory to use HAGS ON with the RTX 4090 due "SER" (Shader Execution Reordering). However I want to use my VR occasionally too (Quest 2) and it is known that HAGS needs to be turned off to avoid performance issues. Besides, it's a pain to have to keep turning it off and on all the time.

Oct 13, 2022 · im current running neo g9 with rtx 4090, ryzen 5950x. its amazing for sure. however, the benchmark i get compared to lots youtube reviewers who tested rtx 4090 with 4k monitor is about 5 to 10 % less. im not sure why, but it seems g9's resolution is more demanding than 4k in my experience. or maybe its a setting issue. i dont really care much ...

Oct 31, 2022 · I have an Asus TUF 4090 OC in "Performance" mode, and running Port Royal I reach GPU Temp of 72 °C, GPU Hot Spot of 86 °C. I tried with the side of the case off, same results. Furmark results are even hotter than that (79°C GPU/93°C Hot Spot).

Most AIBs will perform similar, and I found a 1300 RPM fan from gigabyte much louder than a 1300 RPM fan from other brands so if you wanted a 'quiet' air cooled card it's not ...

Oct 15, 2022 · I'm not the author of this video, but I did some testing on my own RTX 4090 and the undervolting still looks to be a worthwhile endeavour if you care about temperatures, noise and power efficiency. The cards are pushed very far from optimal point on the efficiency curve. For example at stock settings Metro Exodus gives me 112 FPS at 445W.

Oct 17, 2022 · Got my GALAX/KFA2 SG 4090 to +260 Mhz core and +1700 on memory for benchmarks, which is stable at +250 Mhz core and 1650 Mhz mem in games and I didnt even touch the voltage slider only power limit set to 113%. Got 10991 on Speedway, but maybe I can get past 11k with the voltage cranked all the way up.

I’ve currently got the BenQ Zowie 1080p 240 hz with DyAc, and thought about upgrading to 1440p or 4k to make games look even better and sharper.
