Sep 27, 2012 · One caution...if you do add insulation, you may have a problem with condensation on the covered surface of the refrigerator, particularly on the freezer side. This is because that surface will be cooler than it normally is. The insulation (even foam) can then absorb the moisture and become useless.

If the bottle is sealed, it is fine. If the cork has been removed (even though it is replaced), it is still an open container.
