Dec 26, 2023 · I think i want to try an engineer (holo) for open world and instanced content play. Can't decide on race (and armor combo) though. Any suggestions on what race/gender/armor should I use. I kinda feel like all cool medium armor is sneakthief focused. And thats not very engi to me 😄 But maybe i am wrong. Thanks!

Oct 17, 2024 · Maybe for racial-themed turrets you could have the basic skin starting out, but then unlock each race's style by leveling the profession on different races. That'd at least tie it to something that makes Anet money (character slots) for a bit of an internal motivator, even if it doesn't serve a clear gameplay purpose.

Aug 22, 2018 · Zott is an engineer (R.I.P. Zott), Zrii is a thief, Zojja is an elementalist (lots of Z's, I know).Charr go well with engineer, warrior, guardian and ranger. Lore wise, charr invented the engineer profession, even Tybalt is an engineer (R.I.P. Tybalt). At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter which race you choose for your profession.
