LENT 2025 CATHEDRAL SPECIAL SCHEDULES. Confessions. Monday-Friday 11:30am -12:00pm Saturday 3:00pm – 4:30pm or by appointment. The main confessional is located in the back of the church (to the left as you walk through the center doors). A second confessional is near the statue of St. Joseph on the right-hand side, near the sanctuary.

On July 6, 2021, Father Jerabek was named Chaplain for Birmingham-area university students by Bishop Steven J. Raica. Chaplaincy activities take place at both the Cathedral of St. Paul and St. Stephen’s Chapel. Father is a Knight Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. He is also a Fourth-Degree Knight of Columbus.
