Eudora 7.1.0.9. compatibility with Win 10 - Ten Forums
Oct 11, 2015 · The upgrade went fine, and Eudora 7.1 works fine under it from all I can tell. Perhaps this is because I installed Eudora to its own folder c:\EUDORA and nowhere else. Other advice I have read about installing Eudora to any OS later than XP recommends that you not allow Eudora to install in Programs Files folders. Seems to work.

Jul 2, 2020 · Thank you for the reply! I realize Eudora went back to Europe on the Mayflower but it actually works perfect on this computer. I don't use it but tried it just for curiosity. A command put into the Eudora.ini got rid of all the Headers, including forwarding. Putting the same command into their Eudora.ini simply will not work.

The one thing required is the ability to set the incoming and outgoing ports, and Eudora lacks that capability, so it's either stay with unsecured email or move to something else. Thunderbird apparently has the required capability, and I know it was built on Eudora.

Mar 25, 2016 · Thanks for the quick response. But it doesn't quite do the trick. After the folder replication (replacing "sales" with "bec") and registry mod you suggest, upon initial program load, Eudora says "Eudora is not currently the default program. Would you like . . .? [Y][N]" Clicking [Y] gives "Eudora was unable to update the system registry.

Nov 9, 2023 · No ideas about this specific program, but I bought a 1 year subscription to the Stellar Phoenix program for Eudora. My experience was pretty negative. Incomplete conversions, and lousy tech support. So I would not recommend this company. Can you get a refund?
