But the test drive had the CVT issue, and that's when I found that they had all sorts of CVT problems. (this was the 2017 MY).

Long block of engine replaced at 74k miles and now at 129k and engine is consuming oil again and shutting down randomly. Dealership is saying I'm screwed since I'm just outside of the extended warranty. 1st and last time buying a brand new car from Hyundai.

I see others have mentioned the delay of about 1 second experienced when accelerating from a stop. It's okay when you're pulling out on a low speed road, but when turning out onto a highway, it's a little unsettling.

Feb 28, 2023 · At 5 1/2 years old -- 2018 Tucson Silver paint is deeply faded on the spoiler, around roof rack and peeling paint around rear window. Took the car to the dealer and stated out of warranty, nothing they can do. The silver paint on my 15 year old car is better then the new Hyundai. I will never buy another Hyundai.
