Dec 14, 2024 · I have been eyeing down X-Plane 12 for a bit now and I think I want to buy it, however after seeing MSFS 2024 I am debating whether to get X-Plane 12 or MSFS 2024. While I value the realism in planes X-Plane gives, I also want good graphics and a wide selection of aircraft that MSFS gives since addons for X-Plane are very much expensive.

Aug 14, 2024 · Do not want to start a dilemma, flight, etc. Legit question: I have ton invested in MSFS and did a lot in X-plane but just could not take the graphics etc. For the hell of I fired it up and updated tonight. It is better than I remember but the blurry numbers and text unless zoomed in are annoying. At dusk, dawn, and night I really enjoyed it.

The graphics are OK compared to FS, but way better what was shown on the X-Plane FS Trailer remake. It feels like we are in the middle of a children competition. The intro video was made with lower than lower settings.

Oct 30, 2023 · For helicopters, X-Plane 12 is a fantastic alternative, it has a new updated physics engine (compared to XP11) that allows helicopters to fly very realistic, better than any other simulator for helicopters, with the exception of DCS World but XP12 has finally caught up with DCS as far as helicopter physics/flight dynamics in my opinion.
